Hello friends,
Before I get unrealized expectations I was wondering what normally happens with a PPO BOG. Assuming it stays PPO with no chance in opening time or last minute EMH or EMM. Do they allow early diners to begin riding 7DMT before the park officially opens? On our last trip in 2017 I was told this was the case but we didn’t do BOG for breakfast. Either way I intend to book it as my daughter really wants to eat there and we are on the dining plan so it’s not a ridiculous price. I just want to know what expectations to set for everyone.

You are held near the ride until just before the rope drop crowd, in my experience. We did get a ride before the crowd walked back, but we did not get unlimited rides after eating or anything. We were finished eating at around 820 (with a 9 am opening) and were let into the ride queue right after the opening show fireworks went off. We've done this twice, sept. 2016 and may 2018. Similar experience both times.

Visited on a Wednesday in September 2018. 9:00 AM park opening. PPO BOG finished up around 8:45 AM. Walked out of restaurant and were let right onto the ride. Rode three times before rope drop crowd made it to the area. We were happy campers! No idea if that was a regular sort of thing or if the timing gods and their handlers were feeling especially generous that day! Big smiles for sure!
