PPO BBB appointment

We're going in May and I'm trying to get my plans together before our ADR day next month. We'll be staying at the Poly on a DVC rental. I'm considering making a PPO BBB appointment for my DD6, maybe 8:15 or so, with the idea that we would get out right around when the park officially opens. We don't necessarily have to rush to 7DMT after that like so many will be, though if we're out early enough, that might be the plan.

My question is this - realistically, what time would I have to leave the resort to get there for the appointment, including getting into the park and through security? My plan on MK/EP days was going to be to walk to the TTC and take the express monorail from there. Would it be running by the time I would need to leave? Thanks.

It may be quicker to take the resort monorail and skip security in the parks all together. It usually starts running an hour or so before the park opens. Either that or you could just take a ride share straight to the front gate, it would cost of course, but you wouldn't have to worry about a time crunch making it to your appointment.
