Hi! I have a pre-park opening reservation at Be Our Guest (an 8:05am reservation for a 9am park opening). Are guests with an ADR let into the park prior to 8am or is it safe to arrive at 8am for the reservation? I was thinking of arriving earlier to get pictures in front of the castle but if my reservation doesn't get me in earlier I'll use the time for extra sleep. Thanks!

I believe earliest they'll let you in will be 7:55/8am as the first ADR time is 8am.

If your ADR time was 8:30 then you could still get in at 8 with all other ADRs

Thanks. That's what I figured. I appreciate the response!

We had an 8:05 breakfast ADR at BOG this past Tuesday (9 a.m. park opening). We arrived at MK around 7:30 and they started letting folks into the park at 7:45. We had plenty of time to have pictures taken with two different PhotoPass photogs and to stop and buy ponchos (torrential rain that day!) on the way to the restaurant.

We had an 8:30 BOG reservation a few days ago, but showed up at 7:35. They let us in with everyone else with PPO ADRs at 7:45 and we were the second group to check in at BOG around 7:55. After check in we waited just outside the castle doors until around 7:59, when a flock of CMs came out to clap as the doors opened and we entered. We had ordered in advance online, so just needed to pay at the kiosk and take our seat. We claimed our preferred table, got our drinks, and our food arrived almost immediately. We ate and then went to line up for 7DMT (we were behind only 2 other people) and ended up being on the first train of the day when the park opened at 9.

So, long story short, if you have a PPO BOG ADR get through the taps before 7:45, enter the park whenever they open for PPO ADR guests, and proceed directly to BOG. They will let you in immediately, regardless of your specific reservation time. Ordering in advance will also save you time inside. Enjoy!

Thanks for this! That's so exciting being the first train of the day at 7DMT. I haven't even mentioned it to my kids in case we don't finish in time. Can you let me know what time you got in line? Thanks.

We have an 8:05 on a 9am day and this is the plan I’m hoping for!! (Now if Disney would kindly not change the hours we’ll be golden!)

We were done with breakfast and outside of BOG a little after 8:30, and in the newly forming line for 7DMT around 8:35 (there were just a handful of us at that point). A CM supervised the line and made sure that no one went further towards 7DMT. It took a few minutes after that for the line to build, so everyone who joined by 8:45 or so was probably able to ride in the first few trains after 7DMT opened at 9. They moved the line from around the corner to the actual 7DMT entrance around 8:55 (line was much larger by that point), and RD folks started arriving just a few minutes later.

There were also BOG PPO ADR folks who went straight over to PP after breakfast, and they were the first on line there and probably rode with no wait at 9AM too. If you want to do both rides, do 7DMT first. By the time we exited at 9:05 the standby line was long. We went to PP second and, even though we were behind the RD crowd, only waited about 20 minutes. Having the two consistently longest line rides complete by 9:30 while still having our 3 original FP+ really helped to open up our day. We felt like we were ahead of the crowds with the wind at our backs for hours afterwards. Good luck and enjoy!

Did you guys with these PPO BOG use the bus? We won’t have a car and there are 7 of us so 2 Minnie Vans is expensive.

We were staying off-site, so used our rental car to park at TTC and then took the monorail over to MK. Important to point out that the express monorail and/or ferry often are not running that early, but you can take the resort monorail and get there quickly. I have also heard from others that the resort buses run early enough to get you there, but you need to make sure to catch it just right because they don't run frequently at that time.
