PPH Shortcuts with Aerial map

It has been about 5 years since we last stayed at the PPH. I have read through some threads here about the shortcuts to jog my memory but I am such a visual person that I need to see it on the map.

Can anyone confirm that I have this right? The red shows the way to DCA and DL Maingate and the purple to the monorail.

This shows the North front exit of PPH through the parking lot to the sidewalk around the AMC theaters to the monorail.

We used to use this way a lot but I have not seen it mentioned much. Is it no longer a valid way into DCA? It is a cement path full of lush foliage and leads out to the area where the Zephyr is

Correct, it is no longer an open route. Hasn't been since at least early '07 when I started planning our first big trip.

Is the sidewalk from the GCH parking lot to the west side of the AMC theater open? I don't think I've ever seen that open.

We usually follow the yellow route below to get to the monorail from PPH.

I'll be there tomorrow, so will try & check it out.

It was great while it lasted. My DD and I did a mom/daughter trip and stayed at PP when it was operational, and it was cool and private. They used 9/11 as an excuse to close it, since it was private!

I would really appreciate that! My 11 year old is a full time wheelchair user so the most direct accessible route is what I am always looking for If you could let me know ahead of time that would be so great to avoid a "well, that didn't work" moment

Well, we were there today for MouseAdventure, and were in a rush to get the the game, and too tired afterward to go check it out, but a few hundred people left the Paradise Pier hotel, and everyone headed to Downtown Disney and the parking structure (Mickey & Friends) via the yellow route above. The walkway on the right of the AMC theater leads to a gate that is always closed. I'm pretty confident of that.
