PPH Premium View vs DL Hotel Premium View Rooms

Hi!

I have a reservation for a Premium view room at PPH. I know that these rooms overlook CA. It is a non-concierge room. I see with the new AP offers now I can get a DLH premium view room for just a bit more money ($300 for our stay).

My question is what do the Premium view DLH rooms overlook? I would rather see CA than DD. We had DD view at GCH last year and enjoyed it, but would prefer something different. Also, the non-concierge rooms are lower floors, correct? So a premium non-concierge room at either hotel still has a good view?

Is the DLH experience much better than the PPH experience? We are 2 adults, no kids with us this time.

Would you change hotels and why? Thanks for any input!

This was the view from a Prem view at DLH. Not in the pics, to the right you can see Cars Land and DCA, to the left you can see fireworks at night. (You CANNOT see Fireworks at night from PPH.)

Here are some pics from our PPH park view(concierge) from a few years ago. We did have an OJK view of WOC and the music was piped into the room via the TV.

We've stayed in both and we prefer the view at PPH hands down. It is just amazing!

The higher floor the better. One time I scored the top floor. It was 12/2008, WoC was under construction:

VGC was also under construction. You can see Disneyland in the distance, could see the fireworks.

I was thinking of this EXACT same question today! We stayed in a DLH premium room recently, overlooking DTD. We didn't really care about the view, but my young girls enjoyed it and we could see fireworks at night. We are currently booked in a premium room at PPH for a future stay. While I love the idea of the PPH view, we really loved the classy look of the DLH rooms. The pictures I see of the PPH rooms kind of make me go "eh". I am not usually a snob when it comes to hotel rooms, but I guess we just liked the DLH decor and the light up headboard . But that view at PPH is FABULOUS! So hard to decide!
