Hello all. Thanks in advance to all those who take the time to reply.

So here are my questions:

We'll be staying at PPH Conceierge for three days this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will be driving in early on Friday morning, I suspect we will arrive at the hotel at about 6:30. I KNOW we won't be able to get into a room this early, but will they let us use the lounge for breakfast? What about on Sunday when we check out, I know we can use in the morning, but what about the rest of the day? Can we return for in the afternoon and the evening and use the lounge?

Thanks again for any input and happy to travels to anyone leaving soon!!!

Great questions, we will be there at the same time(we'll get there 10am tomorrow) If you don't get an answer I'll ask. I didn't even think about this. I just figured we would eat breakfast the day we left and maybe lunch since it will be set out around 10am (uncrustables, etc....) and I think check out is around 11am.

Our last experience was similar to yours. We pulled in at 7am on a Sunday (DL opened at 9am that day). This was our experience:

- Parked in the "park for 10 min. while you check in lot" next to the front door. (6-8 spaces).
- Took all luggage to the bellman who checked it at gave us a ticket (so we could pick it all up later).
- Walked 10 steps over to check in (after saying "hi" to Surfing dude Goofy) & checked in & were given our Concierge keys.
- I went & parked in Lot while family went to Concierge for Bfast. After Bfast, we each grabbed 2 waters (or soft drinks) each for the parks.
- Walked thru the GCH into DTD & on to DL front gate.
- Arrived at DL gate 30 min. prior to Sunday opening.

Also, on the last day

- we enjoyed Bfast & toured the park.
- Came back at noon (had lunch) & packed & checked out.
- put all bags in the car (which was still in the PP parking lot)
- Went & toured our final 6 hours at DLR.
- Came back at 8pm & picked up a dessert & drinks for our 1 & 1/2 hour drive (to my brothers home).

2 nights lodging.
3 full Days full Concierge Enjoyment.
3 full Days parking.

Have fun. :thumbsup2

& Please Report Back how the front desk describes EE. (For Multiple Days available etc.)

Also, ask if they know what days EE will be starting in Jan. (I'm curious).

Thanks. :thumbsup2

So yours keys for the lounge worked even after you checked out?

Thanks again for the reply.

so hound, how long did they let you stay in you'll rooms? couse i was thinking the next time we go trying to take a late bus home and stay an extra day for park and stuff.
do you think they would have a place for bags to be till left that night (i wouldnt have a car lol)
and what time dose the lounge close, sodas and stuff at night

I can't answer for concierge, but...

PPH said flat-out that we could park in their garage until midnight of the day we checked out. They did have bell services where we could keep our bags (but we lived dangerously and put bags in our car in our biiiiiig trunk).

You have to check with the hotel the morning of checkout to see if they have late checkout, and the day we did so, it was unavailable (I assume it's based on how many people are checking IN that day, so they can get it cleaned and ready for the next people ASAP!). And even if it had been available, the time they stated on their info wasn't very generous, not like a Westin where I've been able to checkout at no extra cost at 2pm, instead of 11 or noon.

This is what we did as well. We toured until 11:30am. Came back & packed & checked out & put bags in our car in the lot. (noonish)

Toured & came back at 8pm (but could have come back at midnight as Bumbershoot indicated) got in our car in the lot & drove off.

We didn't need a late checkout, so i didn't ask...noon worked good for us.

My parents had concierge at PPH in early December, checked out and then used the concierge lounge that evening for snacks before heading to the airport. However, they got access to the lounge because someone else had opened the door. On leaving, my Dad tried his card and found it it didn't work! -- Suzanne

Your key WILL NOT work after the checkout time of 11am. We had been planning on an afternoon snack before we left, but we were told by several different people that you are only entitled to the lounge up until check out time. Did try the key later and it did NOT work. Of course you could hang around until someone opens the door, but we didn't do that. We stayed at the Grand Californian, not the PP, but I am pretty sure the rules would be the same.

That being said, I dont think it would have killed them to let people have access after they check out, for the rest of that one day. We definitely didn't eat or drink $80 worth of snacks/drinks per day for the days we were there (that was the added cost to upgrade to concierge). We wont do concierge again, we just didn't feel like we got that much value out of it. (8 small bottles of water, couple cups of coffee, cookies, muffins, couple chocolate dipped strawberries, maybe a piece of fruit or two). Turndown service was hit or miss. Other than the lounge, we didn't get any 'extra' attention or service vs. someone who paid regular price. Compared to concierge level services at 'regular' hotel chains, I was not impressed.

In response to your parking question: you can park until midnight of the day you check out for the same price.

We've checked in early (before 3pm) on both our concierge stays and was welcome to use the lounge immediately. Our key stopped working, except for exiting the parking lot, as soon as we checked out. It would not open the concierge lounge or the pools. On our 1st stay, we specifically asked the moring we checked out if we could come back in the afternoon and was told no, the key is deactivated upon check out. For our 2nd stay, again our key didn't work after checkout. The cm(she remembered us) did let us in and we asked if we could grab some snack before we hit the road and she let us. So it may be hit or miss.
