Power Wheelchair Rental Ideas? Volusia?

Hi, everybody,

I'm hoping someone might have had experience renting a bariatric power wheelchair. I am very hesitant to travel with DHs brand new power wheelchair and were looking to rent. We rented previously from Randy's, but don't see PWC listed on their website any longer - just ECV.

Care Medical has a 22" PWC, which I am concerned will be too wide for using on rides. (Hubby is heavy but not that wide in the hips).

Has anyone used Volusia Medical Supply? They have seem to have some nice chairs on the website...

I don't know if Volusia would rent to you. They are in Daytona Beach and at least 80 miles away. They would probably have a horrendous delivery charge each way.
