Power Pass Question

Is a power pass good for one full year?

I saw on the Universal site the blackout dates for this summer, but it doesn't have next summer's posted, will they be on the weekends again?

I thought while I was researching, that I read power passes are not always offered? I wanted to wait to see if there are any promotions for Annual Passes, if not we were going to buy one Premium Annual Pass and three Power Passes.

We purchased our Power Passes through AAA and they are (supposedly) good for 15 months from activation, or first park visit. We'll be testing that later this fall when we plan to visit outside of 12 months, inside of the 15.

I thought about getting one Annual Pass for the parking and the discounts, but decided we'd have to spend more than I thought we would to make it work, especially considering we'd be out of luck for one of our party for the fall trip when the AP would have expired.
