Power Pass Black Out dates

I noticed on the Universal site, the only black out dates for June were June 25 - June 29. Those were the dates we were thinking about going. Is there any reason? It is busier that week than other weeks in June? We could go a week or two earlier if it would be less crowded.

I think that starts the peak of their summer season. Thats when the east coast gets out of school here for summer break. Although the south is out before us I guess crowds really kick in around those dates. If you look blackouts continue each summer month after that for the power pass.

However I could be totally wrong! Just a guess sorry.

No, you aren't wrong. You are correct. That is the beginning of peak season at the parks.

Would it make a significant difference in crowd levels if we go the week before? We will be staying onsite for a week?

The earlier in June the better but i'm sure even the week before would be an improvement, there's a definite reason the blackout begins when it does.

Btw, if you are staying onsite, the front of the line privileges will really come in handy whichever week you choose.

Those dates are exactly THE reason we didn't get the power pass....went with the preferred. We always go the last week of June and it's always blacked out (we go to the park first and then to Ocala, Fl. for DFIL birthday on July 4th..so, no really getting around it) Oh, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS stay onsite!!
