My son uses a potty seat on top of the toilet at home so he doesn't fall in and makes it more comfortable for him (and a stool). Do they have those on the ship? I understand the tailored in the clubs are tailored to little ones but what do you do in the staterooms? I don't really want to have to hold him everytime he needs to go.

When DS was that small, I bought a fold up potty seat from Amazon that sat on the toilet. They had one that was well padded and folded in 4 places. He wouldn't have used the the toilet without it. Served us well for a good year or so!

There's nothing like that available onboard for the toilet in your room. If you want such a thing, you need to bring one yourself. We used a fold-able, travel one for all our kids on trips.

We plan on bringing our fold-able one. It cost $8 on Amazon (not padded, very basic). I recommend practicing with it a few times first at home.

We have a fold-able potty seat as well that we are bringing. We also have a foldable stool that I plan on bringing.

We have a foldable potty seat as well. Our stateroom host was able to find us a stool. I'm not sure if it's a typical request though since when we asked he said he would look for one.
