I finally got my confirmation email. When I clicked the link I got this message:

Congratulations!
You’ve successfully validated your early access Pottermore account. You will be one of the lucky few to shape the experience before the site opens to all in October.

You may have to wait a few weeks for your Welcome email to arrive as we can’t let everyone into the Beta site at the same time.

This is pissing me off. She should just pick people at random, like Google does for it's beta tests. My kids are determined to get in, and are still up at 1:30AM Eastern time. I mean, they don't have school, but this is ridiculous.

Aw! That's sweet. Hopefully it's something they remember later in life.

I remember my mom waking my sister and I up, and going way early to McD's for those teeny beanie babies they used to do. We went in pajamas. Another family's little girl was all, "Mom.. why are those girls ready for bed?" . Greatest thing ever.

Day 2 registration is now closed.

Got my DD up as soon as I saw the registration was open (that was about 6:30 am our time, 5:30 Eastern). She got in and registered, and then when I tried for me, it was already closed!
