Was looking at a potential trip to DisneyLand in CA - few questions that I couldn't find answers to in my guidebook:

1, How many people are allowed in the rooms at Disneyland Hotel ? - would they take 2 adults & 2 kids?
2, What is the window allowed to book - 11months before, 7 months before or just anytime bar in last 60 days of use year?
3, any views on whether it is worth doing a visit there using my DVC points ?

Thanks for any help

They allow up to 5 in some of the rooms at the resort. I believe the booking window just changed - you can book anytime now - even in the 60 days (might want to verify that.....).
As far as whether it's worth points - well - it depends on what kind of deals they are running and what time of the year you are going. I'd call and see what kind of cash rate you can get and then compare it to the # of points needed. I adore Disneyland - so I certainly think it's worth going - but we don't use points when we go - at least we haven't yet.

Have stayed at Disneyland twice on points. First time was 3 nights at GC and 3 at DLH. This year for the 50th party was the DLH again. While the GC is beautiful the room was smaller and they don't have rollaways so we ended up with a sleeping bag and mat on the floor for one of us as the two teen age people of different sexes weren't sharing a bed. The DLH staff was great when I explained I either needed a rollaway or a room with the 2 beds and and day bed.
The first year we got to the room and found both the rollaway and the day bed- sent the rollaway back. This year the room was a little bit smaller and we had no wet bar with refrigerator but we had the day bed and a fantastic view of the pool again. We felt the points were well spent and we enjoyed every minute. I would not use points for the GC again however.
