Thanks Jud and Cyndi! It's hard to post just one pin! Yeah, I started pin collecting in 1999 and lived through the manic years of pin buying on eBay, trading at the parks and online and attending pin meets and local pin parties. I now only buy pins to fill out my resort collection and any new attractions, for which my DH is very thankful!

I like that Backstage Safari pin Nancy! It's on my wish list for the future!

I too collected back in the day, before it got ridiculous and Disney started doing a pin for every line in every song... this first one is my favorite as it came from the era before pin trading became a thing. It's exact match isn't even in the books (similar, but not quite this one.) I traded a cheapie for it from a CM who I think had no idea what it was! In the early days, Walt would have a very limited number of pins made up to give out to tradesmen and others he wanted to share a treat with as it were. I don't think this is one of those, but it is defiantly before the crazy years.



And this is another favorite just because it is good design.

that tour was great Kathy. I have a lot of tour pins, cruise pins, old pins........started collecting before it was popular.

Wow! I was thinking the same thing! Love the "I" pin! That is one I would grab even now. (That, and the grape soda pin.)

Thanks Jud. For a good long time I tried building the complete set but with each pin released at only 1000 total and several never offered at auction etc. I finally gave up after getting 11 pins.

I have quite a few pins. But being that I love photography, I was totally excited to come across this pin set. We happened to be staying at Port Orleans when I came across this one. I definitely couldn't pass it up. I probably should've gotten more from the set though (they featured the resorts), because they are no longer there.
