"B" days are always my favorites!!

These are from "B"oma--my favorite!! They are from my "B"irthday dinner! The first one is DH & me, and the 2nd is my mom & dad! (coincidentally, all 4of our names start with "B"!!)

Buffy, I have to agree with everyone--your DD is definitely a beauty!!

She's sooo pretty Buffy, and that dress is exactly what we want my neice to wear as flower girl to our wedding, right down to the red sash!

let me know if you want me to send the pattern. The sparkle tulle was in the wedding section of the fabric store. Mom made the dress.

thanks guys, she is a cutie. I told DH when we got together that I picked my boyfriends by who I thought would make the cutest babies. LOL I picked right!

tomorrow is C so I will post a pic of the 4 of them from Christmas.

I have to ask SIOH, what on earth is that luscious looking dessert from Boma?!?!? We didn't have anything like that while we were there. I was already sitting here thinking about chocolate when I saw it & now I'm thinking chocolate for dinner since no one else is here.

That is a tower of Deep Fried Oreos. You can't see it in the picture, but at the bottom (the base of the tower), there were deep fried bananas, too (wait, that would have been another B!) To borrow a phrase from KAMommy's DH, the Deep Fried Oreos are "slap-your-mama-good!!"

Those are from our Sept 07 trip. It was so funny! When we went in March 07 (DH & I with KAMommy & her DH), we ate at Boma. I started talking to one of the chefs, and he brought us deep fried oreos. When we went back in Sept (with my mom and dad), I saw the same chef when we were seated. I said, "I know you don't remember me, but your picture is in my scrapbook." He said, "Oh no, I do remember you!" Mom and I went through the buffet line and I got mac and cheese. The same chef said, "Don't eat that. You can get mac and cheese at Walmart." A few minutes later, he came out to our table with a wok/skillet type of thing. It had a huge tower of fried shrimp, fried mushrooms, and a chicken & corn relish thing. It was amazing!! I was, of course, acting like my normal crazy self--hugging him, taking pics, etc. At dessert time, we had gone to the buffet for zebra domes, and here he came again with the oreo/banana tower! That's why Boma is my very favorite!!

Oh wow! Awesome story! Boma is our favorite restaurant on the planet and we never had deep friend Oreos or that shrimp, mushroom, chicken tower thing!

Love the story!!!! I hope something like that happens to us...but it won't because they have seen as often...

Ha ha ha! It's so cute you think I could make something like that! My family's sewing skills end where they begin. Just sewing name labels into clothes or hooks onto towels is enough to make us cry.
