POTC special activity?

I just got back from WDW and while purchasing something at the gift shop outside of POTC, I overheard a CM talking to a little boy about something that he was getting a certificate for?!?! It sounded like an activity like waking up Tink. Sorry I dont have more details - I was trying to get out of the gift shop quickly. Anyone heard of something going on in that shop?

Probably for a magical moment. We give those out all over property when we have a magical moment with our guests - especially the kids!

Whatever it was, the kid was so happy! Made me smile. The CM there, by the way (I think her name was Barbara?!?!) was absolutley wonderful. I was buying a shirt for our babysitter and she went out of her way to find a nice gift box and chatted with me for a few minutes. If you see her, make sure to say hello.

There is a special VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom) Trivia card at POTC. There are some trivia questions on the card that you look for the answers to in the que line & during the ride. You scratch off the cannon next to the correct answers. You then take the complete card to the Main Street Cinema. They verify the answers & if you get them all correct they will give you an addition VMK card. These cards unlock special prizes & features for the VMK online game that you play on your computer.
