As many of you know we have been in Phase 1 of Beta testing for a few months, and have received some great feedback and data to assist us as we continue the process of developing Pirates of the Caribbean Online.

Our end goal is simple - make a great game! In order to achieve this we believe we need some additional development time and have therefore decided to move the launch of the game to this Fall. This gives us some extra time to further enhance the game, respond to additional data we've collected during Beta testing and incorporate more of the input we have received from our players.

In the meantime, we have some exciting things coming your way, including a brand new website, community contests, more updates from the development team and tons of updated game assets. You can continue to get all of this information and more at

I know! It dosen't take that long to Beta Test I would rather it come out with glitches and we can report them to Disney. I would have let it out just at the end of this month if I was in charge.

They said release in Spring, but they either had a huge delay, or they meant Beta.

I could be that they didn't expect to have so many glitches during beta that they did.
Or they could have meant that beta was released in the Spring..

Only Disney knows.

I think they meant Beta starts in spring because I'm pretty sure it did. But I have heard of many bugs and glitches.

Some of the bugs and glitches were a little wierd.. that's all i'm telling you.

I STILL have not been able to get into the game.


Can anyone PM me some tips on how to get in? I used TWO email adresses for the Beta sign up, and I haven't gotten anything back other than the "Welcome, we'll see you soon" letter.

What is this? Does it have something to do with vmk?

Its a massively multiplayer game based on the POTC movies.
