Arg it's taking forever to get my beta key. It's been over two weeks since I got the email saying "we'll speak to you soon". >_<

I don't think the are giving codes to everyone that sign up. I submitted several email addresses and only got one beta key. If they gave one to everyone they might as well just open the game up to everyone right now. I truly hope you get one because the game is really fun. I am even thinking about leaving VMK perminatly for this one!! good luck on getting a key.

i didnt have too do the credit card thing but it might be bc i used my existeing acount.

try increasing your virtual memory. i did by 1000 mb and it runs alot better now!

how do you do that?

first you have to be the administrator of your computer, if you have xp go to control panel, then click on the system, click on the advance tab, click on settings under preformance, click on the advance tab, click change under virtual memory, make sure the c drive is highlighted and it will say how much disk space is available. this is extra disk space on your hard drive. for better preformance make the low and high the same #. i have alloted 2000 mb of space for virtual memory. remember however much you use cannot be used for anything else. basiclly what this does is uses disk space as ram. if you can definatly get more ram. but this is a good temporary alternative. hope it works as well for you. i still lag but not near as much and i don't crash as often now!
