POTC Bird

When standing inline for POTC, when you first get inside, theres a treasure box and a light up POTC sign, that bird that sits there did it used to talk? I remember it talking when I was younger but last time I went it didnt.

I think now (before the renevation) it cawed and said "pieces of eight" which is the store right outside the exit. now there is some subliminal advertising right there.

I heard that the parrot now located inside POTC used to be at the entrance to Adventureland, by the Tiki Romm, drawing attention by "barking". (like carnival barkers call you in to play the games)
