So POTC will be down for refurbishment in Feb it looks like. What's the chances it's a quick one and will reopen for presidents weekend? We are there Feb 12-18.
Same with grizzly River run. That one is shutting down in January and is still slated in Feb to be refurbishment....Any chance it will be open for our week there?!

10yrs and taking our two boys for their first time and those are my favorite rides I wanted them to try :(

Trying to keep my hope alive. Hahahaha

Just wanted to add that I hope you have an amazing trip despite these potential closures and don't give up hope! Keep an eye on the schedule as they release the dates during your trip. :goodvibes Sending you good vibes that POTC and GRR will be open!

Oh interesting - those aren't showing up yet on some of the other lists. I was wondering if Pirates was coming due, as when we were there after Thanksgiving, it had some technical issues happening that needed to be addressed. Too bad, that's one of the favourites, and hopefully it won't be down too long and gone during our visit.

The return date for POTC is March 15th, and that is pushing it, so no chance of it opening early. (Better chance of it opening late)

GRR is March 22nd, so also no way.

Sorry.....

At DCA, Redwood Creek Trail and Mickey's Fun Wheel will also be closed... (And of course, the former TOT building will be closed for the Galaxy takeover).

At Disneyland, the Rivers of America stuff will still be closed for Star Wars Land and the Matterhorn.

Thanks everyone. That makes me sad but at least I can get over the disappointment now instead of continuing to hope. Do I dare say at least Indiana Jones is still running and same with splash mountain? Hope I haven't curse myself lol. February isn't too cold for river run!! I'm from Canada, it was minus 3 today and I was outside in capris, running shoes and a hoodie

Minus 3° F or C(anadian)? Average midday in February in Anaheim is around 20-22°C (70°F), which I think many of us find plenty warm for the water.

It's hard to say on other rides because some refurbs and extensions are announced only 6 weeks out, but I think Splash Mtn, which usually gets refurbed in Feb., was already worked on this Fall.

Minus 3 C although right now it's currently minus 8

Wondering where you first saw this.
Seeing this listed on some sites & missing on others. What is the best site with the refurb updates?

I had read somewhere, can't find it now, that PCTC will be refurbished and open in time for the 50th anniversary on the 18th march. We are keeping original fingers crossed as we leave on the 18th

Where did you see the Fun wheel will be closed, and what dates?

The "best" site to find closure dates is the only original one.
Fan sites (including this one) copy information from disneyland.com, but often make errors and are not updated frequently enough to be kept up-to-date.
It is unfortunately not that simple to get closing and reopening dates from the official site.
You often have to check several pages, there are more difficulties with holiday overlays, etc.

If you did spend the time on disneyland.com, you could find that the official closure dates are:
GRR: now through 3/22
MFW: 2/6 - 3/5
Matterhorn: 2/6 - 4/27
PoTC: 2/3 - 3/15
iasw : 1/23 - 2/2
HM: now - 1/19
Jungle Cruise: now - 2/2

Any idea when Rivers of America should open up again? I know it is speculative, but would like some sort of idea.

Sorry for everyone visiting during those dates and missing out on a favorite ride. This is a good list of closures and I do hope this means these rides are all looking and running well when we visit this summer.

They originally said summer and people were predicting May. Mouseplanet is now saying the RR is delayed and won't open until late summer. I don't know if that means the river will be delayed too. I was hoping for my mother that it would be open so she could see it as she doesn't visit DL but every 3 or so years and does not plan to get APs with us.

IASW doesn't close until JAN 23. It's open currently until JAN23

This is also a great site to list refurbs:
http://www.kennythepirate.com/2013/01/06/walt-disney-world-attraction-refurbishments/

See - copying isn't so simple.

As for yet-another-list, it's not "great"er than any other
It has the Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise and "it's a small world" re-openings off by a day.
It also has the start of the "it's a small world" closure starting a day too soon.
If you really want to get picky (and it does include shopping), it's missing the closure (for an unknown period) of Mlle. Antoinette's Parfumerie.

It's common that other sites, while may not be official or off by day or so, will leak referbs prior to Disneyland site, so a good resource non the less for other Disers. :)
