It says Davy Jones will be returning so I wonder how long Blackbeard will be a part of the ride. I have seen Davy Jones at both DLR and WDW so it would be fun to see Blackbeard but we don't go until November.

Hard to say when, it probably will depend a lot on the theater run of POTC 4.

I did hear someone speculate that perhaps when Davy Jones comes back, Blackbeard will stay too and not be replaced. Just alternate the scenes. But this is fully, just a made up rumor based on the fact that it would be easy to edit the film clips together.

Well this is a welcome change. I never did care for the slimy tentacled face of Davy Jones. I just wish this would be a permanent change. Arrr

Aww, I'm jealous. I'm so bummed- the in-laws are coming in from Iowa this weekend and we're at the resort Fri and Sat for their first visit to DL. I'm going to have to fish to see if they're interested in seeing the movie. All this time waiting and I may have to wait an additional week...

I agree...a little over the top for me but then again I didn't really enjoy that particular sequel. Can't wait to see the new one!
