Potatoes?!?

Hey All,
So Safeway has a bag of potatoes on sale for 99 cents this week. I want to get one, but they tend to go bad before I can use them all!
Any suggestions?
Can I partially bake them as oven fries and freeze?

Don't see why you couldn't. Definitely precook them though. Frozen uncooked potatoes get nasty.

I have also made mashed potatoes using cream cheese and frozen them and reheated them in the microwave before as well. (Twice baked potatoes work great for this). Baked potato soup can also be frozen.

Another thing I have done is split the bag with someone else.

Keep them cool ~ they'll last a lot longer...

I put them in the frig and they last me a long time.
