Potato Head?

As luck would have it while I'm packing up to leave in the morning my son finds his Mr Potato and proceeds to ask me to help him find all the pieces to it. Yeah out of half a dozen boxes...these kids have way too many toys!

And for the first time since we bought the thing he's been playing with it. Go figure, right?

So I need to know where is the place I can find more pieces at WDW? There is one right?

Maybe instead of waiting for Christmas I'll let the kids play with the Darth Tator early. LOL

Once upon a toy store in downtown disney is where I got mine. I believe there is also a spot at MGM but they dont have as much.

You will find stores all over the place. The ones that come to mind are the Once Upon a Toy in DTD, Toontown in MK, and the one in MGM. I don't remember seeing one in Epcot but I could be wrong. And if I am, someone please chime in -- love our Mr. Potato Head!

Once upon a toy in DTD is the best place. They have bins full of different pieces. You pick a box and fill it up as much as you possibly can. I think it is somthing like $12 - $15 for the box. It might have gone up since I was there last, but the box holds a ton of parts. Good luck.

I know this has been asked before, but I don't think I ever saw the answer...the pieces you buy at WDW, will they fit a Mr. Potato Head that your kids already have at home?

I've bought the nephews some regular ones and I would love to get them some of these pieces on my next trip. I'm still kicking myself for not getting a box the last time I was there.

yes they will just remember to get a right and left arm because these are designed to hold the mickey baes etc. that is what i have read. we will be geting our DD one when we go.

Yes, do remember to get the right and left hands!!!

Note that if you do get your "Potato" at WDW, it does take up alot of room in the box. Just remember to open the "door" in back of the potato and put parts in it too---yes, this is ok.

Have fun! I'm 38yo and I *had* to get the potato parts for my DD--it was great fun!!!

Yes, the pieces will fit the potato head you already have. The fun part is that the store at DTD offers a lot of pieces only available through Disney. You can fill your box with Mickey ice creams, autograph books, Goofy hats, etc.... Just make sure you get a bunch of arms to hold the stuff - there are a couple different kinds of arms.

We buy a box full of potato "parts" every year when we go to DTD. My kids bring along the potato bodies from home, so that we don't waste valuable box space buying more of those, and can fill up, instead, on all the new parts! My DH is in charge of arranging the pieces to maximize our purchase The parts fit the regular bodies you would buy any other place.

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we found our Potato parts and man did we stuff it! LOL

While at Epcot we went into MouseEars (I believe that's the name of it, just across the bridge on the right coming out of the World Showcase) and of course the kids had to get a box. My daughter was sitting there putting pieces in and a CM came and helped load her up with every goodie there! We got 1 of each thing and 2 of several...and yes we got 2 arms and 2 ears! LOL (Dh's joke when I said we got 1 of everything!)

So we really got our $18 worth!

So for those wanting it, ask a CM if they'll help. And if you notice anyone else buying, share the knowledge. I was seeing several families make a Potato Head then just putting those pieces in the box. Dumb! LOL

Don't forget to put parts inside the suitcase. The autograph pen and mickey bar fits in there.. We just had to close the box and we got one of everything!! My DS 4 just loves to play with it. But we keep it at my mom's in California so it is a special treat...
I don't know who had more fun. Me or my son!
