Posting Picture Help: - Please

I have a couple of photos of my DD I'd like to post but I've never attempted this before. Anyone volunteer to 'walk' a tech novice through the process? I figure on a slow afternoon maybe some knowledgeable DISer has a few spare minutes.

you'll have to find a place to host them first. I use imagestation.com - it works to link there for now but may not in the future.

This is how to do it using Internet Explorer - Netscape is a little different . After you load them at the host site, right click on the picture you want to post. You'll get a menu, select properties (at the bottom) . You'll get a screen that has the address (url) of the picture. Hilight and right click to copy, go pack to your post select the IMG buttom at the top. Right click again and paste - the url you copied will be in the box. Use OK to save and that will put it in your post. You can use the Preview Reply at the bottom to see if it works.

janette, Thanks for taking the time to post. I followed your steps and everything worked except.....the last one. When I previewed the post, the links didn't work properly. Maybe it has something to do with where they're hosted (yahoo photos) Anyway, I'm going to try newmousecateers advice and post to the tech board.

You can't remote link from all sites. That is probably it. There are a few others I've used imagestation.com here but it doesn't work at other sites where I've tried.
