posting photos

Posted on the tech board with no responses.
was wondering if someone here has any help for me.

1st off I am a MAC user.
Saw on the boards to upload photos try using Photobucket.
But I am guessing because of my MAC that my photos arent jpeg or whatever it is that photpbucket wants them to be, so they are uploading. Does anyone know how to contact photobucket or know of another place that might work for MAC users.How do I do this???
ANY help would be really appreciated as I am not very computer literate..

Let me try to help you...
Are you using i-photo?

If so, click on the photo you want and then click on "Export"

It will say export as what and then selelct .jpg When it asks you to name your photo BE SURE TO TYPE IN photoname.jpg it WILL NOT add the extension for you. THen tell it where to save it (I usually save to desk top for ease of finding it.)

Then in photo bucket you can upload that. It WILL NOT upload it if you do not have .jpg in the picture name, even if it is a jpg.

IF you forget, you can just click on your picture on the desktop, (It will open in preview) then "save as" and add .jpg to the name and save. Voila!!
