Posted September Hours - Can these be right?

Just booked a short trip 9/18 - 9/22 and noticed that the posted closing hours seem pretty early. Is it normal for the Parks to close between 7:30 and 9:00 during this time?

Example HS on 9/20 closing at 7:30 and MK on 9/21 closing at 7:00.

MK closing early is probably for a MNSSHP (Halloween party). Don't know why HS is closing so early....

That's pretty normal for that time of year.

During the least busy times, MK closes as early as 8pm most nights. The 7pm closings in September and October are for MNSSHP.

The other parks can close quite early, too- AK usually at 5pm, DHS anywhere from 6 to 8pm. Epcot is the park open the latest most nights during the "low season", closing at 9pm.

The good thing is that even with shorter hours, the attractions have such short waits that you can get everything done. It will still be hot and humid in September, but you won't need to take midday breaks to avoid huge crowds. Just plan on doing more indoor stuff in the hottest part of the day.

That's pretty normal for that time of year.

And in the past it's been much worse. Back in 2002, the MK closed at 6:00 every night in September except Thursdays when it stayed open Until 9:00 for Spectromagic and Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks.

We always go in October. I find that Disney always revises/extends park hours between the time I book and the days before I arrive. So just keep checking. I am sure some of the parks will end up being open later than what is currently shown and/or have revised EM hours.

Very normal but i always have plenty of time to do what I want during the day PLUS it forces me to relax at night at the resort by the pool!
