Postcount too low?

Hi everyone - wondering if someone out there can help me..

I've been using DISboards for a little while now and have found it INCREDIBLY helpful! Thanks to everybody who has offered their advice

My question is this.. I was reading a new thread that somebody had posted, and I actually knew the answer to a question they had asked. I clicked on "post reply", answered her question, but when i went to send it, it said "error_postcount_too_low_post_links". What does that mean? I was just trying to answer someone's question.. It has let me post my own replies without any trouble up until now, but when I tried to answer her post, it came up with that error... Help...

It's an anti-spam type thing. You cant post links until you reach a certain number of posts. You'll be able to reply all you want, but wont be able to post links. I dont remember what the post count is for that. It's nothing personal towards you, it just does help keep down the auto spam bots that come in and post links..

It's the same with PMs. You can't send a PM until you have 10 posts.

pictures are also the same... i found this out first hand it is frusterating, but it just made me want to post more lol

That's weird - I just had the same thing happen and wondered what the heck the deal was. Why can't it just say "You aren't able to post a link until you've made 10 posts"? Too easy?

Well, 10 posts is not too bad. ONly 7 more till I can PM!
