FABULOUS CLARE!!!!!!!

They seem to be missing something "original"...... what could that be?????? Something California like?????? uuummmmm, I'm thinking.....I'm thinking.....

Messing with ya dear. Say if you have time to either make them generic Disney or Disneyland, that would be great. I thinkI will print up some and send them to the girls, they love mail.

Paula - I made one especially for you... hope you like it!

Paula - I know you are messing - but I wouldn't want you or Glynis or any other DLers to feel left out now would I?? :thumbsup2

WOW!!!!! Those are awesome! Could you do the Pooh Halloween one and Christmas one with "Walt Disney World"? Those would be great to send to friends from home.

I think some of the "photo enhancements" could be tweaked into postcards.

Fantastic Clare, I just got Photoshop two days ago and I don't mind telling you I'm completely lost. It'll be a while before I post anything I"ve done with it.

I bought it before Christmas and still can't figure out how to change the color of the font. :confused3

I really must do some tutorials as I've been using my old PC to make autograph cards but it keeps crashing. :badpc: I've probably wasted more time on that old PC than it would have taken to do the tutorials.

To change the color of the font you can do a couple of things, at the top of the screen where it has the font name, etc. there is a box with the color of the font, just right click the box and pick a new color there. You can also sample a color from your image by using the eyedropper in the tool window.
My PC is on the old side also, I just can't justify purchasing a new one yet.

I think that's what I tried to do. I even used help but couldn't get too far. I purchased a Mac before Christmas last year. I thought they were suposed to be easy. I used to have a Mac years ago. I also can't figure out how to print a mirror image. I've got it switch to mirror image, the preview shows mirror image but it still prints "normal". I can't figure out how to print anything but 8 1/2 x 11. I change the paper size, print size, ect...but it just won't print right. I guess I should go to the Apple store and see if I can get some help.

Last year for Christmas I did make a DVD for my SIL of photos from a trip she took to Scotland and I made my mom and MIL DVD's of the kids from birth to present.

I know there is so much I could be doing but I really need to take the time to do more tutorials. Maybe I should DIS less. :scared1:

I haven't printed any yet - but I think card stock could work well. I might even try thick photo paper so that the postcard image prints on the glossy side.

The photo paper might work well. My aunt sends me photo post cards with her extra prints all the time.

I might try my hand at making one of these postcards.:teeth:

Did you get the background from a wallpaper? :confused3

I might be able to do it if I keep it simple. :thumbsup2
