Postcards - 1 per day????

The rules say one card per day, per person... does that mean that I can send one in for Sunday and one in on Monday, even though they would both be postmarked on Monday? I guess the question is... how do they figure out the "per day" thing.... is it by postmark, by date listed on the postcard, or by date the postcard is received?

I believe it is the date stamp by the postal service, so in fact many cards could arrive the same day.
