postcard good thru 12/19. they tell me i cant use

because it came in my daughters name she has a different last name and does not live here anymore. she does not spend a dime when we go, i spent nearly 9 grand the last 2 years and they say i cant use this pin # it makes me a little upset but nothing i can do about it.

Is she going to go with you? If so then make the reservation in her name
 
Try calling again and asking another CM. I got a postcard yesterday in my sister's name, at my address. No idea how that happened! Anyway, they let me use it.
 

Definintely call again and if CMs all say 'no' ask for number of someone above them who has power to grant something like that!:genie: You have a legit reason
 
I got a postcard with my daughters name on it and she has a diffrent last name then I do..............when I called i just explained to the cm that a postcard came in my daughters name and they said that i still can use it I would definately call back............the cm also told me that he'll just switch everything over in my last name because he knows that he can't book the room in my daughters name because she doesn't have a credit card.......so just call back and speak to another cm.
 
Call back for sure! I got a postcard with my address, adressed to my neighbor who is 6 yo! We went on a neighborhood trip 3 years ago and I booked the room for everyone. Anyway, they let me use it! Good Luck!
 
The only postcard I ever got was last fall (maybe this spring) after our early OCT trip and it was in my 7 year old son's name:crazy: Trust me, the trip didn't cost him a penny.:rolleyes:

Call again, eventually someone will probably say "no problem":sunny:
 
I just posted this on another thread...my postcard came in my nephew's name (he's 13). I was able to book two rooms with no problem. Definately call again.
 
One more vote for trying again...

I got an email code to MY email...I had NEVER gotten a postcard or other special offer so I was VERY excited!

BUT, the email offer was for my DAD, I found out when I tried to make a ressie! He had gone with us on a trip in April...BUT the ressie was in my name...I paid the WHOLE bill...my parents were my guests!

When the CM heard that she said I should get the code...she talked to "someone" who gave her another code if the email pin number "failed" under my name.

The pin number did NOT go thru...but the CM put in the other code given to her which did make it thru.

I got AKL...but I'm really hoping for WL with an AP rate. I'd love to spend Thanksgiving at WL...we'll wait & see...

But it goes to show you what they can do if they try to work with you!
 
Yes Yes Yes - call again!
Our postcard was "sort of" in my husband's name - wrong first name completely and mangled surname, but the PIN # is noted on the file that has all your info from previous trips. CM who handled our ressie had no problem applying the discount.
