Trish - I did, I did:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc What a truly lovely lady you are:tongue:

I only got them 10 minutes ago courtesty of my next door neighbour. I've been away on a course for a few days and he has been taking deliveries for us while no-one's at home during the day, but I met my family for a trip out last night from my course and we didn't get home till late:rolleyes: .

What can I saw except a HUGE thanks for all the lovely things. It couldn't have been more spot on since this is the first time in 6 years we're not visiting Florida, so all the stickers and Bambi pouch etc were such brilliant fill-ins for us:sunny: The candle from New Hampshire is beautiful, as are the others. My DD has already got her eyes on the lolly pops;)

I am so grateful to you, sorry you worried about them not arriving. Our postal system over here is not so good as yours, anything over the size of an A4 envelope has to be delivered separately - we don't really have mail boxes here, just small letterboxes:crazy:

Thanks again
Annie xx

I've also got a really big THANK YOU to say to Califlady (Renee) for the fantastic postcards from Japan. What a lovely surprise these were in my pile of post waiting for my return:bounce:

There are some very pretty psotcards- and some with the most amazing buildings on.

Thanks again Renee, have a wonderful time out there in Japan.

Excellent you guys:teeth: Sounds like you got some wonderful postcards Annie::yes::

I received postcards from Mrs Dazzle today. I would love to visit Britain one day it seems like lovely country. I have relatives in Cornwall.

As for where I live, it is a gated community and has room for 3000 homes but there are not that many. There are 5 lakes the largest being 100 acres. We get deer in our yard all the time and I feed them apples. :D Once in a while we also get a bear of two. :(

Also want to thank Merriweather for the postcards from Washington. :D

I am so upset. I received a call at work today from my DD15. Apparently one of my postcard envelopes I sent out was "Eaten" by a post office machine.
You should see the poor envelope. It is so mangled they had to stuff it in a plastic bag to return to me. Guess I should be glad it came back as otherwise I would have never known why it wasnt received.

Don't worry Cruisin'Kroezes Chatham Ontario I will be going for a ride tomorrow come rain or shine to replace them.:D

I was wondering when it was going to be received. I am so sorry you didn't get it already Cruisin'Kroezes.:sad1:

So I will mail some more Monday, as I will have to go to post office to make sure postage is correct. I will try to find something nice to add for your patience.

Again I am sorry.

Ahhhhhh the dreaded mail sorting machines. If the envelope is too thick it won't pass through the runners on the conveyer belt & it will get "eaten".

Perahps a larger envelope next time Fran?:(

Sorry this happenend to you Fran, I guess you've learnt a lesson from this hey? In this age of sorting machines we can't afford to assume our envleopes will be ok. Gone are the days of hand sorting the mail:(

Bumping back up:Pinkbounc

Hoping someone has something to report, someone who hasn't posted yet:confused:

Just a quick note to say I went and purchased another set of postcards today. I will go spend my lunch at the local post office. I hope you like them. :)

I put an envelope in an envelope to make sure at least one would survive. LOL

Phew and to think I worked for the post office as relief. That machine better watch out I will go beat it if it attacks my postcards again:jester:

Have a great week everyone:wave:

Thanks for the update fran::yes::

Hope all goes well second time around:D

So, do we have any more news???

Anyone received some mail today???:Pinkbounc :bounce:

I got some great post cards from KayleeUK in (where else?!?) the UK today! Thanks!

I've never visited your area of the UK, so now you have my interest up in making a trip! What a quaint place.

Thanks, KayleeUK, especially for all the information sent, too!

I received a set of postcards last week from Sarah (momtoce&j) and James, who is three.

They were from the state of New Jersey, plus New York. There was a Statue of Liberty post card in the bunch. The others were a mao of New Jersey, Giants stadium, Hot Air Baloons relating to Flemington NJ, and the Jersey shore. PLus, a very nice note about the postcards and New Jersey.

Thanks Sarah and give a hug to James from me, Cindy:wave2:

My DS got some wonderful post cards in the mail today from Barry! He has cards from Ft. Meyers, Kennedy Space Center and 2 recipe cards, but the thing that he was most excited about was the Dis Meet 2003 DVD's!! We have spent the afternoon enjoying these!! We went to one Dis met last year and hope to attend more this year. Our favorite part was the Infestations!! What a great way to spend an afternoon!! Thank-you so very much!! You have one very happy boy!! Once more, a terrific exchange!
