I think that I have one envelope I mailed left to arrive at it's destination.

Yup, you have one still to arrive and then you are all done, except you are waiting to receive two.:sunny:

Down to three people still to confirm that they have sent their cards... one is at WDW on holidays (lucky duck).

So, fingers crossed we have what may well be a first..... all senders...no non-senders:goodvibes

I haven't rec'd my last set yet and with the holiday today in Canada there will be no mail until Tuesday. Hopefully good news to post then. :thumbsup2

Happy Canada Day!!

Well, I've received my fourth set of postcards from crazyme5kids. She sent me a postcard of:

the Empire State Building
the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhatten
the George Washington Bridge
a group of photos of Long Island
Montauk Point Lighthouse, Long Island
a map of New York state
Rockefeller Plaza
the Fire Island Lighthouse
and maps of Long Island and the New York subway system

Thank you Margie! I love to look at maps. Don't know why, they just fascinate me. Were you wanting me to notice the "NBC News is coming here!" marquee in the background of the Rockefeller Plaza one? I guess that means that that postcard picture is dated? The one of the Statue of Liberty one is also. It has the twin towers in it. It's good though, keeps that memory alive.

Wow, that is some envelope you got there Kirby:thumbsup2

LOL! You'd be amazed at all the postcards that are somewhat outdated in NYC. My husband picked up a bunch from the city for me. I didn't even use the ones of Times Square because the pictures don't look anything at all like it looks now. Leave it to my husband not to notice!

The funny thing is he works (well sometimes) in the city and where the office is now is smack dab in the heart of Times Square.

The ones with the Twin Towers, well I don't think we New Yorkers are ready to not see them in a postcard, it just wouldn't seem right.
