Postcard Black Out Dates???

We just booked the other day with the postcard rate of $209/nt at the poly. Three of our days were supposedly blackout dates yet they gave us the rate anyways. Anyone else experience this?

Sort of....
We got the deal for Nov15-22. These dates were not on the postcard and when i first called I did not notice this. I think because I was too excited. But I got the deal anyway.

Not sure if this is "blackout" but when we booked WL, I tried for 16-23...was told rate was only 'till the 19th...even tho I questioned it as the e-mail doesn't specifically state anything about consecutive dates booked AFTER the ones listed (12/19) but got nowhere, so booked thru the 19. Then DH says to see if we can get longer, try calling again, and this time I WAS TOLD NO PROBLEM KEEPING THE RATE! It's true, you just have to keep trying. I honestly believe that so many are used to the rate remaining the same from date of check in, that WDW is actually honoring it even tho it is not in writing. Especially since the 19th is the cut off from value to holiday rates, yet the e-mail says the 19th.
