Just looking for some info! We have two switches this time, the first time ever. On our first switch we will check out, then have lunch at ESPN with my parents (they leave that day), then head to the Poly for a mostly resort day. I am wondering if it will help my luggage get there faster if I take it down earlier in the morning--or should I just make sure I have our swim stuff in one of our bags we keep--or should we just take a cab! I know Friday is the busiest checkout day and don't know how soon it will be moved.
On the other hand we are doing a park Sunday and it doesn't matter how long it takes our stuff to get from the Poly to VWL.
Anyone have any experiences to post, today or tomorrow please?
(Can you believe I leave in 2 DAYS!!!)

When we were on our honeymoon in July/Aug 95, we split our stay between GF and CBR. We did not have a car for that trip, since the first part of our honeymoon was a cruise. We had no problems changing resorts. We just let bell services at GF know that we were going to CBR. We headed off to enjoy the parks in the morning and headed to CBR after lunch. Our luggage was waiting for us and our room was ready.

Just switched from the BCV to Poly yesterday. Getting your luggage picked up early by the resort you are leaving doesn't matter as all the luggage is transferred at one time. You are supposed to have your luggage at your new resort by 3pm. We didn't get ours til about 4pm.

We switched from ASMo to DxL in 1999 and we didn't get our luggage until about 5. The bell services person had to call ASMo three times asking where it was before it finally got there. They said the All Satr hotels are the worst about transferring luggage. Other than that it went smoothly. They just brought it to our room when it finally showed up!;)

We just did the resort switching thing for the first time in June. We stayed on night at the All Star Music & then transfered to the Polynesian. We had no trouble at all. Our luggage arrived before 3:00 pm. We did pack a swim suite & a few other things in our back pack, but we didn't even use them.

Have a great trip.
