As I'm planning (or tweaking) my current WDW/Orlando vacation, I'm wondering what everybody else is doing: how many nights are you staying, where are you staying, which parks will you visit how many times, how many resort or pool days do you plan to use, where will you eat, etcetera.

I'm really curious! So post your plans for your next WDW-vacation!

21 Night (22 Day) Stay Itinerary

We have booked most things for early in the day which will then give us the flexibility to get other FP+s on the same day, to park hop or to do something completely different.

We will not be hiring a car but staying solely on property and using WDW transport.

We are flying in from the UK with Virgin which means that on our last day we can check in our bags in DS and spend the day relaxing there before the Virgin transport takes us to the airport late in the afternoon. We have booked with Disney Express on arrival so as to get into the magic as fast as we can!

Plan includes FP+ reservations, Dessert Party reservations, Package reservations, Restaurant reservations and Tour reservations already made and confirmed.

Day 1 Arrive Late afternoon Check-in at POFQ - Supper at Hotel or maybe DS depending on time and physical state after a long flight.

Day 2 MK Pirates, Splash Mountain, Crystal Palace Lunch, Big Thunder Mountain, Fireworks Dessert Party

Day 3 Chill Day AM - Hotel Pool, PM - DS

Day 4 EPCOT Spaceship Earth, Imagination, Garden Grill Lunch, Soarin', (Frozen Dessert Party?)

Day 16 MK Kona Café Breakfast, Winnie the Pooh, 7 Dwarves Mine, Peter Pan

Day 17 Chill Day - Hotel Pool etc. Evening - California Grill

Day 18 Cape May Breakfast, then EPCOT Frozen

Day 20 Chill Day AM - Hotel Pool etc, Evening - Board Walk

Day 22 Last Day DS (Virgin Morning Check-in)

Still waiting to see if the FE Dessert Party is going to happen no sign of it yet after the end of August.

I don't have the exact time scheme yet because our trip won't be till September 2019 (planning the exact dates for everything next December) but this is a summary of our plans:

We have 10 nights in Animal Kingdom Lodge (with Dining Plan), followed by 7 nights in Universal's Royal Pacific and 7 nights at Universal's Sapphire Falls. The latter two hotels may change. We might add one night in a cheap hotel for the first night, so we can get into the themeparks right away and not waste any of our tickets.

Day 1: If we have one night in a cheap hotel beforehand, we will use the day of our flight for a bit of shopping at the supermarket and maybe a bit of Disney Springs but mostly to get some rest after our flight before we hit the parks
Day 2: We'll get to Animal Kingdom Lodge and go to Magic Kingdom for our first day with a lunch at Be Our Guest and a dinner at Ohana
Day 3: Epcot with a lunch at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe and a dinner at Via Napoli, maybe we'll check Food and Wine Festival
Day 4: Hollywood Studios with a lunch at ABC Commissary and a diner at 50's Prime Time Café
Day 5: A bit slower day with Typhoon Lagoon in the late morning and afternoon and after that a trip to Disney Springs. We will eat at D-Luxe Burgers or The Mara at our hotel
Day 6: Magic Kingdom again with the Keys to the Kingdom tour and dinner at California Grill
Day 7: Animal Kingdom with dinner at Flying Fish
Day 8: The Backstage Magic Tour and probably not much more after this 7 hour tour, dinner at The Wave of American Flavors
Day 9: A slow day with a bit of hopping between the different parks. Maybe we'll rent a boat on this day around Crescent Lake and/or stay at our resort for a bit. We'll end the day with a Fantasmic Dining Package at Mama Melrose.
Day 10: Another slow hop-day
Day 11: Blizzard Beach and after that leave for Universal's Royal Pacific, maybe we'll hit the parks for a few hours
Day 12: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Mostly the first one on this day I recon.
Day 13: The same but more emphasis on the last one.
Day 14: Volcano Bay and a bit more slow day
Day 15: Back to Disney for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween with dinner at Columbia Harbour House
Day 16: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure where we'll do the VIP-tour
Day 17: I keep this day open so we'll have a bit more flexibility: maybe we hit one of the parks, maybe one of the waterparks or we'll have a trip to Kennedy Space Center.
Day 18: Seaworld
Day 19: Volcano Bay or Aquatica and the Universal parks and after that we change hotels to Sapphire Falls
Day 20: Since we have 21-day tickets at Disney and they will expire in a day, we'll hit the Disneyparks for the last time with a bit of hopping
Day 21: Seaworld
Day 22: Aquatica
Day 23: The Universal Parks
Day 24: If we didn't at day 17; Kennedy Space Center, otherwise a slow day
Day 25: Last day at the Universal Parks
Day 26: Probably our return flight
(this may all change pending the touringplan updates and dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween)

We will rent a car, mostly for the convenience of not having to use Disney transportation (Magic Kingdom excluded), but also to shop for a bit outside the parks and visit Kennedy Space Center.

This all amounts to close to 14.000 USD. For me that would mean six monthly salaries, for which everyone, especially my parents, call me crazy but I have saved for this for over five years and it should be our dream vacation, our once in a lifetime trip. We would come back to WFW and Universal later but probably in a cheaper way than what we do this tine. The 14k includes park tickets, hotel costs, flights, gas, parking, tours, food and drinks, souvenirs, tips and special things like tours, Universal Photos and Mickey's not so scary Halloween.

I'm looking at some ways to make it a bit cheaper like other hotels (in the Universal part) like Cabana Bay and Endless Summer (which would be about 800 USD less) and canceling the rental car (about 100 USD less if you subtract the alternative Uber). The tours however will stay, as I have dreamed of doing them since I found out they exist at age 10.

Well our 6th trip is not until Feb 2021 but I have already starting penciling in data. This time we fly instead of drive (I refuse to pay for parking). We will have 10 full park days and my girls have picked the Poly to stay at (this past June we stayed at AKL and they say then can never go back to being moderate girls). I am planning on 2 days at each park, 1 day customers choice (I will do Hollywood the girls are talking car rental and Daytona Beach) and the girls are talking about either a 3rd day in MK or a 1 day trip to Universal with 2 park tickets (Star Wars will be open so I will be going back to Hollywood).
