Thanks for sharing the photos of the chefs at Flying Fish.

One of our favorite chefs, Chef Brett who was at Citrico's, is now at Flying Fish! I will have to share these with him :earboy2:

Momsgoofy, thanks so much for your photos and reviews. DH and I have FF planned for our trip 5/06. I'm really looking forward to the dinner. Thanks Again!

momsgoofy: You went above and beyond with those reviews and I LOVED it!!!! Thanks so much for spending the time to do that. We ate at Flying Fish years ago (1998) for our honeymoon and it was wonderful then! Sounds like we should go back again!!

We loved Kona for breakfast too...definitely worth getting up for :teeth: We did Le Cellier for CP this year and it was yummy

Thanks again and I just loved all the pics! Oh, and by the way, congrats on your first trip home to SSR. We are OKWers :sunny:

I get that from my mom...both the chatty cathy and the love for food! :rotfl: When my mom returned from her travels, I always heard about every detail of her dining experiences (and loved hearing them). My oldest sis used to complain, so once I told mom to just tell her about all the different restrooms...she did and the sis stopped complaining. :rotfl2: I know if Mom were alive she would be in love with this thread and all the food porn stories, so sometimes (in a weird way I suppose), but I feel like she's with me when I'm doing this. :goodvibes Glad I could help ya out!

We were pleasantly surprised with Arist Palette! We ate here a couple of time and thought each meal was great. The pizza was very crispy, and the sauce good. DS ate 3 of the salads during our trip and loved them! I wished I had my camera with me for the other lunch, but we'd been to the spa right before, so my brain wasn't working...lol But, we had an awesome panini sandwich...pulled bbq pork, with a granny smith apple chutney and smoked gouda cheese. It was served with a side of the Saratoga Springs chips....man those were great! They were homemade potato chips, a little thick and crunchy. The sandwich was fantastic!

I just joined the DIS message board yesterday, yet I have been reading it for months now. I totally appreciate all your information and pictures. You have been a great resource for me as I plan my first family vacation to WDW with DH(35) DD(5), DD(2), and myself (34) on Jan 25. My DH and I have not been there since 1988!!! My how surprised we will be.

These pictures of your meals at Arstist Palette looked wonderful but I cant seem to find out WHERE it is located. The only thing close to it in all the books I have is the Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge Resort. Is it the same restaurant?? Please let me know as my kids are pizza freaks and my DH and I love salads. Thank you so very much. :smooth:

Welcome to the DIS!! It's the best source of information for WDW I've found! Ask your questions here and they will surely be answered within minutes. :grouphug:

Artist Palette, as someone has already posted is in Saratoga Springs. It is a counter service only, but the food was really good! We didn't see any typical burgers, dogs or fries, although the kids menu did have some standard fare. It was a good place to grab a bite near the room without too much wait and the only reason there was a wait is the food is prepared when you order so it's not sitting under heat lamps.

As for exactly where it is located? In the Carriage House, past the sitting area, next to the gift shop. If you were not staying at the resort and wanted to get there...take a bus to SSR, get off at the "springs" bus stop, walk directly across the street past the main pool and you will practically run into the building.

Wow, I did not know that it was counter service! Thanks for that info!
