Kona Cafe: the beef teriyaki was very good. My wife ordered it well done (she's pregnant), but it was still quite tender. My mahi mahi was only OK. The fish was a little bland, but the risotto and crispy onion rings were quite good. All in all, the dinner makes up for an unimpressive lunch we had here back in April.

California Grill: We shared the BLT flatbread as an appetizer…it was excellent, very fresh, especially the heirloom tomatoes…For mains, my wife went for the signature grilled pork tenderloin (a mutual favourite), and I tried the black grouper. My fish had a hint of curry spice….which didn’t quite gel with the rest of the flavours, but the fish was fresh, and the shrimp was great with its crispy coating. I felt the sausage was a little too much. Still, an interesting experiment in flavours and textures.

For dessert, we had the molten lava-type cake…which was sublime…they even brought out a complimentary chocolate cake for our anniversary that we couldn’t finish, as it was too rich (but very good)…

CG is still our favourite WDW restaurant.

How was Portobello Yacht club? It looks very good! I'm thinking of trying it on our next trip this spring.

Portobello YC is a very good Italian restaurant, several classes above your chain-type Olive Gardens. While I forgot to take pix of our appetizers, I had the calamari and my wife the minestrone. Both were fresh and distinctly better than what you would get at the chains. My linguine with shrimp was excellent. The shrimp was succulent, the pasta perfectly al dente and the sauce heavenly and creamy. Also, my portion wasn't too big, which was fine as I had just had a plateful of calamari.

Our server was also top-notch, efficient and no-nonsense, yet always with a smile. This was my 3rd time here and each has been a very good meal. I also had an ADR for Palio (which we haven't tried before) for later in our trip but with my 2 yr-old not co-operating, had to cancel it.

PYC is definitely one of my faves.

The lazy susan idea seems to be more organized, we just kept getting bombarded with food and dishes everywhere, a good thing I guess...

I loved the potatoes but do not love fried rice
