SSR = Saratoga Springs Resort - our DVC home resort.

Okay - these are some pictures of the food we ate on our trip 6/30/07 - 7/8/07 ..... My sincere apologies if these are repeats - I didn't go back through all 400+ pages to check .....

I'll try to keep them sorted by meal. We'll start with our 1st meal - Lunch at Fulton's Crab House (DTD)

Bread

More specialty crackers & seafood spread (they give it to you free & the recipe for the spread too!)

Crab & Lobster Bisque (a bit spicy for my taste)

Child's Spaghetti

Child's Filet Mignon (DD had some expensive taste going on - but she ate it - including the grilled veggies!)

King Crab & Shrimp Combination

Chef's Selection of the Day (of course DH can't remember what it was!)

I swear, I feel insane taking pics of our food before we eat it .... and goodness knows we gets lot of strange looks .... but that's what the dis-love is all about, right? Right???

In answer to the question about how was the food, the only complaint was from DH who says his "fish of the day" choice wasn't hot (temperature) enough. Please bear in mind that this man doesn't eat sandwiches b/c they are cold .... I intentionally ordered a cold plate, and it was great!

Good morning all ........ Okay, I have a question for the judges .....

In the couple of photos we took at WDW last week (only 1289), I pics of many of the restaurant exteriors and/or signage. Do y'all want me to post those here? I mean, they aren't exactly food, but they are restaurant-related.

Judges - I need an official ruling here ........

Or I guess anyone with an opinion can chime ine!

Okay .......... on with the show ........ next up: uhh, well I can't really remember where I left off or what we ate next .... it'll be posted in just a few minutes anyway, so just hang tight ......

Okay - here we go .... dinner at Coral Reef ....

for those of you perhaps unfamiliar, this is the TS restaurant attached to The Living Seas in Epcot. One wall of the restaurant is the aquarium - and it's pretty dang cool! Our table was a booth (which are all U-shaped & face the aquarium wall) was one level up, but we still had a great view of the sealife swimming by during dinner. The kids had a lot of fun saying "Look - SHARK!"

I know - I know - On with the food woman! We don't care about how cute you think your kids are ......

We'll start with the kids' drinks (because they're the most fun) .... the waiter says they can turn any drink into a "Blue Whale" (glowing blue ice cube), so of course the kids went for that option!

Now, just a funny aside .... my DD was quite concerned about the dolphin on the side of her glass ..... she actually told the waiter she wanted to have whatever the kids at the next table over were having b/c they had plastic dolphins on the side of their cups! Waiter says "Okay, dirty dishwater it is then!"

Next - the appetizers (on DDP at this point in the trip)

This would be the kids french fry appetizer (who knew? )

My Creamy Lobster Soup (YUMMY - highly recommend!)

DH's Sea & Land (grilled shrimp skewer & grilled steak skewer - also with the yumminess factor!)

Okay - I have realized just how many pics a DDP dinner depicts - I will now divide this up so as not to take an entire page to myself! Next will be the entrees .....

Here's our breakfast at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavillion at Epcot .... for those of you unfamiliar, this is outside the entrance to Soarin'. Our usual routine consists of grabbing FPs for Soarin' and grabbing breakfast while we wait - we usually hop on the Living with the Land boat ride during this time, but didn't this trip.

Here goes ....

Coral Reef .... the entrees .....

I went for the Shrimp Pasta (good - but a quite spicy to me!)

DH had the Grilled Mahi Mahi

I am not a fish eater, but he really enjoyed it!

DD does not eat any kind of fish or seafood, so here is her Cheese Pizza

And for the first time EVER, DS ordered fish - this is the kids Mahi Mahi

Yes, this was DS's first time eating fish ... we were shocked that he actually ordered it! And, he ate every bite!!!

Coral Reef .... and the part we've all been waiting for ...... DESSERT!!!

I know it's the only reason y'all sit patiently thru the appetizers & entrees ... okay, well maybe it's the only reason I do!!!

Up first - DH's Baileys & Jack Daniel's Mousse (yes, contains alcohol, but YUUMMM - MMMMEEEEEE)

I had the Chocolate Wave .... similar to Chocolate Lava Cake, but slightly different innerds ......... can I have one right now ??? plleeeassseeee?????

DD had none other than ....... the kids Fruit Cup!!! (I swear I don't know who's kid she is!!!)

It's a Young Life Youth Group (teens), they're at SharpTop Cove. He's been there all week, having a great time. They're heading back home tonight!

This is the exterior of Raglan Road .... located at DTD ... and Irish pub with great antique bars, live entertainment & a cute gift shop! We've made a couple of trips here now .. and I must admit is was because of food porn posted on this board a few months back!

Cool .... I was in Young Life in HS myself. I did a long weekend trip at Windy Gap in NC .... I survived the ropes course ... never been so scared in my life!!!
