Have been there a couple of times but I have a question. The pictures of the cars in the restuarant, is that the SiFi place? Are the movies scarey or cheesey?

My dh wanted to go here last spring when we went down but we decided to drive over to Daytona Beach. I'm glad we did the beach but I wish dh would have thought of this sooner so we could have planned it in the trip. We ran out of days.

Yes, that is the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater restaurant. We've never eaten there, but I think the movies are supposed to be cheesy and fun, not scary.

The SciFi Dine-In Theater does not show full length movies. They show actual black and white movie previews from films made in the 1950's. These were like Attack of the 50 Foot Woman or The Creature from the Black Lagoon or The Day The Earth Stood Still. My 7 and 9 year old nephews found these to be funny and corny.

They even showed old snack bar intermission advertisements from old drive-in theaters. One nephew thought there was a snack bar he could get up and go to in the back of the theater after he saw that. It was quite a funny moment.

Disney did a good job with the theming of this restaurant including the previews.
