) I have a hand-held seam maker, and even watched a YouTube video on sewing an easy blanket, but I chickened out and had my mom do it. Unfortunately, one of them had really uneven seams where the binding slid. But I still got back a nice note thanking me for the beautiful blankets!

Love the Mickey Head one.
It looks like you cut your slits more than 3 inches? That might have been easier to tie if we had done that.

We are a family of 4 so we had to make 12 blankets. It was so much fun!

I thought each family member had to make one blanket. Was I misinformed, or are you doing projects for more than one day? I guess I was also under the impression that you could only do Give-a-Day-Get-a-Day for one day... am I again misinformed?
Thanks for setting me straight, if I'm wrong![]()
I thought I read that each person had to make 2 blankets.
Does anyone have a rough estimate of how much it costs to make one of the fleece blankets?
Everyone's looks so great!
It depends on who you go through to do your day of service. I signed up for the national Project Linus (for USA residents) and the requirement was one blanket per person. Some of the local area ones were requiring more.
