So the castle at DLP had the lights two years befor WDW?! The things you learn in a photo thread. Does anyone know if it's just for the holidays there too? Or is it "standard"?

The lights were built in to the castle when it was erected

I did not know that. Nor apparently did I notice while we were there. Even more reason to go back!

I haven't been into WDS since March 06 and I can't believe how it's changed. Our next visit will definately be long enough for us to get in there and have a good look around and try out the new attractions of course.

Thanks for posting this photo of Skull Rock! I loved this - and the Chicken-of-the-Sea tuna restaurant ship - when I was a kid at Disneyland in California. I was so upset when they removed it when they did the renovation of Fantasyland years ago, but I'm glad to see it's been resurrected in Paris!

Maybe some year I'll be able to visit it in person, but in the meantime, thanks for the photo!

By the way, what is the ship now? Is it a restaurant again, or an attraction?

Not really a restaurant. It's Captain Hook's Galley a 'Quick Bite', that is, snacks, fast food and beverages.
