Too quiet in this thread...someone needs to bring it back up! So, from my June 3-7 vacation, here are some Downtown Disney shots, taken with my ultracompact P&S camera on my first night there:
I had just driven up that afternoon, and checked in to Boardwalk - didn't even bother to unpack or get the DSLR ready...usually I like to pop over to Downtown Disney for dinner and walking around that first day, so I took the Boardwalk boat to DHS, walked briefly around that park, then bussed to Old Key West, where I hopped the boat to Downtown Disney. Grabbed food on the Rainforest patio, and then walked around Downtown. The ultracompact P&S goes with me everywhere, when I don't have the DSLR - with a little concentration it can do a passable job!
