I too would like to know what the "mouskemeal ears/lunch boxes" are and what they look like, especially the mouskemeal ears. We leave in 23 days and am trying to get all my info together. :sunny:

I've only been to WDW, but their "Mousemeal ears" are black plates that have one larger circle, and two sectioned smaller circles for the ears. They put the main kids meal food in the large circle, the side in an ear, and a drink in the other ear. They're just black plastic plates a la picnic quality. I never kept them.

I am interested in the lunch boxes though - never seen those.

I think at WDW, most things tend to be disposable since people don't want to lug things around. Sounds like they're more freebies (boxes, pails, etc.) at DL. Great for the collector :cheer2:

I gather the plastic utensils are 'Disneyfied' in some way as well? What do they look like?

I'll try to take a photo this afternoon and post it. The mousekemeal ears are sturdy black plastic. The "head" is where the main portion of the meal goes. The two ears can hold either a drink box/small cup or "sides" (fruit, crackers, veggies etc. ). Really quite fun for the little ones :)

We love getting the free package of tortillas you receive when someone has a birthday. Just go through the tour at the tortilla factory in DCA. They are yummy!

I saw those mousemeal ears at WDW last summer, but didn't save them. My kids loved them so I think I'll ask for some extras to bring home. I'm even willing to buy them.

Being a scrapbooker, the thing I did last year at WDW was to save things that I could use in our disney scrapbook (mickey coasters from the hotel, the mickey toothpicks that were in our sandwiches, extra maps, a few napkins, and so on).

Thanks for all the great ideas. We leave in 22 days!

Free Drivers License at Autopia! (Good for scrapbooking DD's first drive)!
I remember reading on another board that they are no longer giving this out as of January. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

We were there in Feb and got one each time- I know that they will be closing the little shop by autopia when the new Nemo ride opens.

That's good to know that they are still giving them out. Maybe they were "out" when the posters said they aren't giving them out any longer?

And yet another internet rumor says that the shop may take up residence where the hat shop, near the enterance to Autopia.

Free certificates if you pilot the Mark Twain Riverboat.

Free Lockers at Grizzly River Run for 2 hours.
Free 'shower' at Grizzly River Run! :teeth:

Free balloon if you lose yours or if it pops. (if you show your receipt, and it is on the same day of purchase)
Lots of great ideas.

Just want to clarify the balloon comment. They do not give you a receipt when you purchase a balloon. But if it pops or breaks, just bring back your weight (which they tie on the bottom of every balloon) or the string/ribbon and they will exchange it for a new balloon.

Re: Mardi Gras beads, you can get them from the Delta Daddy-Os when they perform in New Orleans Square. They're a great group, 4 guys who sing Temptations-style, doo-wop songs. They're not listed in the program, but you can get the times from the information booth.

I thought that a cappella group in New Orleans Square were called
Side Effect?

There may be, but the one I've seen, most recently in Jan., is Delta Daddy-Os.

This is all really good stuff to know since we are leaving for DL in a couple of weeks. :thumbsup2

Nope. The free strollers for Disney VISA holders is strictly a DL perk.

We leave in 6 days so when we return, I'll post any "freebies" that we find. Great ideas that everyone has posted!!
