I'll start:

I was hoping for a room only discount since we already had tickets but I'll save those for another trip! (As long as I have those stashed, I always have a reason to plan another trip... silly reasoning isn't it!)

Between the two packages we are paying for (one for our family of 4 + infant, one for the grandparents), we saved over $500. These are two 10 day packages at POR with dining. I don't remember exactly, but the original total was right around $6000, and after Visa discount, it was right near $5500. With that savings plus the $200 reward card we're taking with us, I think the Disney Visa was a good idea for us.

The CM who helped me, Hamill, was FABULOUS. Love this guy. At the end of our call, he said "Have a great holiday with us." Then, while I was taking the phone survey, he called me back at work and left a voice message saying "this is Hamill. You probably think I'm crazy for telling you to have a great holiday with us. I should have said, Have a great Valentines Day with us." Very impressive to have gotten the follow up.

We are going marathon weekend so availability seemed pretty limited. There was no discount avail at all at PO-FQ. I was guessing that might happen so we also had reservations at AKL and the difference for family of 4 bunk bed savannah view room for 5 nights was $372. Got us below $3000 so I'm happy Also vacationing with 2 grandparents at AKL for 3 nights and they saved $126 despite having to upgrade from sav to sav bunk beds. Now our difference b/w PO-FQ and AKL is $550 which I think makes it worthwhile for us to try out the AKL.

We are staying at POR in January for 8 nights with 2 adults and 3 kids. We have MYW with hopping and dining. We went from around 3431 to 3027. We saved $404.25 on our package AND we got the water parks and more for FREE!!! I LOVE Disney!!! I am waiting for the general public codes to be released tomorrow so I can try to get them for my DMIL and DSIL.

We used the last code from Aug and saved about $600. I had originally booked POP for 10 nights with Park hoppers and DDP. When I found out about the code, I called back and got CSR for $600 less so I feel like we saved even more.

We booked two separate packages. We saved $238.44 on a one adult, 6 day savannah view package at AKL. The second package is for three adults in a standard concierge room, but my TA said there were only discounts for deluxe rooms available. Oh well...we didn't pick our room type hoping for discounts.
