Right across the street. Bldg 62 was one of the three newer buildings that were built when they torn down the sales office area. It has an elevator.

Boardwalk Villas October 2004. This view came as a pleasant surprise since we did not request a Boardwalk view. We were waitlisted for any studio at BW, which came through a week before our trip!

Newbie here . . . going "home" to BWV in August (1st trip as a DVC owner.) Is a boardwalk view part of the "preferred view" category? How does one go about getting that? Does this all happen at check in?

I don't know how to post pictures, but our 1 BR at HH, #1132, had a water view similar to the one in a previous post (BTW, I think that was from #1138).

I hope I can explain this well.
First, you need to upload your pics to an online photo storage site such as Sonyimagestation, Photobucket or the DIS has online photo storage for members. Once you've uploaded the pic, you need to "right" click on it and then click on "properties". There will be an address there for your pic. Copy and paste it into the img brackets. You can do this simply by clicking on the little image icon at the top of where you post.....then just paste your photo address into the img brackets. Hope this helps.

I am loving the pics... but I think I want to get my new digital BEFORE our HHI trip, though! I want some nice shots there... my cam is ok, but very old and limited (2.1 is the best it can do, and th-th-that's all folks). Nonetheless, here's a few from BW (std) and SSR last year:

THis next one is from SSR, a 1BR (I think it was 1825? Top floor ,I believe, looking over pool and landscaped grounds towards the DTD area.

And no, this wasn't the view from our VWL room, but I still love this "balcony" shot -- as taken from top of the WL during a family flag raising!

Preferred view is actually reserved as either pool/garden or boardwalk view. When you make your reservation, they will tell you if boardwalk view is available. If it's not, you can waitlist.
