With so many of us facing the daunting prospect of supplying our precious little monsters........ahhh.........I mean kids .................with more supplies than they could possibly ever need..........I thought it would be nice to have a place we all can list our best buys. We can help each other save some cash for a rainy day (or a trip to WDW, each ever is most important!! )

This week I found MUDD messenger bags for my DDs at AC Moore. They were $8.00 and our local paper had a 50% off coupon as well. Got 2 bags for a total of $12.00.

Today at Office Max, they have 1" binders for .50. Got each of the 3 kids 4 binders. Figured if they don't use them this year, they'll probably need them next (some years, the teachers want 1 3" binders, others they want 4 1" ones for each 'major' subject ) They also had filler paper for the binder for .15 (both college and wide ruled).

Target has a 10 pk of folders for $1.20, 6 pk of glue stick for $1.44, 12 pk Crayola colored pencils for $1.00. Also, while not a 'school supply', they had woman's socks (the fancy one the kids like with designs), normally $4.99 marked down to .74!! Let the girls pick out 4 pairs and I got some myself, including Mickey and Minnie ones.

Here at Jewel/Osco, if you buy 6 Procter and Gamble Products you get a $7 catalina good for your next purchase of school supplies.

I purchased herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner (2 for $4)
4 Cover Girl Nail Polish (all cover girl 40% off) at $1.65 each
I had a $3 off 3 any cover girl purchase and a $1 of one cover girl purchase coupons
I had a buy one herbal essence get one free coupon
So, I paid about $5 and I got a $7 catalina!

PLUS, there is a mail in rebate for Herbal Essence Citrus where you get the purchase price of one back. So I will get another $2 from that!

at walmart-check out the clearance racks. i got my son several 2 pc. short and t-shirt sets appropriate for school (it's hot enough here that he will wear shorts well throught the end of october, and we start school in 2 weeks!) for $5.00. they also have "faded glory" brand pants (the one's he thinks are cool because they convert from long pants to shorts) for $9.93 each, and the same brand has a 2 pc. short sleeved w/collar shirt/t-shirt combo for $9.93 as well.

Yseterday, DD13 found 3 boxes of items at AEROPOSTLE that were all 90% off! Mostly in sizes XS but that's perfect for her!!!

Walmart consistently has the best supply prices around here. Yesterday I picked up packs of paper for .50, one-subject spiral notebooks for .10, folders w/pockets and prongs were 5/1.00, 16 count Crayola crayons for .25 and Elmer's school glue for .10.

I have 3 now going to school.I bought last june long pants for my dd8 at walmart for 3 each ang long sleve shirts 1 dollar each at k mart. I also bought sneakers at 3 each in june! Now my dd13 is going to be a problem she goes to Catholic school and 2 days a week is gym and basicly anything goes. so I am giving her 200 total ( on top of the 200 for uniform) she can by her 50 dollar sneakers and her 50 dollar back pack and have 100 left for jeans ect. ( If that was me Id buy a 20 dollar back pack and 30 dollar shoes) that will be her budget so if she blows it and has one outfit well though!
