Post Your AP Discount Successes/Misses here!

I got Poly Garden View for $182/night which includes the taxes, for November 30 - December 7.

That saved me another $117/for the week from the other code!

Doing a BIG happy dance here!!!

Just called to modify my rate to the AP code for Dec 13-17 and got a rate of 149.75/night with tax.

That's down from 154.25 - not a lot, but it's still a good savings

FYI - the resort has nothing but Courtyard view avail on 12/13

Best of luck to everyone...

Had ressies at the Caribbean Beach, Animal Kingdom Lodge & Wilderness Lodge at the CKO code discount. The rates (including tax) for the CB was $94.33/night & $132.09/night for the AKL & WL. I called this morning and was able to get the AP rate at all of the resorts. The rate at the CB dropped to $87.67/night and the rate at the AKL & WL dropped to $121/night. All of the rooms are standard views. Saved over $126! May not seem much, but every penny counts!!! I was happy when I was able to get the discount code rate, but thrilled that the AP rate was even lower. YIPPEEEE!!!!! Now it's on to figuring out dining choices and waiting for Southwest to announce fares for that time period. YEAH!!!!!!!!!

From my previous post, you may know that I have:

AKL 11/9-12 Savannah @ $165.34 (w/tax) per night.
Poly 12/7 - 11 Garden @ $182.04 (w/tax) per night

Just added on ASMu 11/8 std @ $54.88 (w/tax)

Just got off the phone a little while ago with a very helpful CM. Got right through with no waiting was able to get a lower rate on my WL Oct 30 - Nov. 2 trip and she also let me change a ressie that was in my mom's name. Got the lower rate for 4 rooms (she checked with a manager and okayed it) at BW Dec. 13 - 15.

Very helpful and pleasant CM!!

Well, I saved a little too.

I originally booked a Polynesian Garden View room at the public code rate of $199, but switched to the AP rate of $184 per night for the last week of Oct. I'm not saving a huge amount, but at least it is something. We're pleased.

I was out of town this weekend, so my mom made the phone call at 6:00am this morning. She was on hold for 45 minutes, but she did succeed in getting two rooms at AsMu and saved $288! Woo hoo! :bounce:

Arrghhh!!! I usually go in November, but this year we are going in Oct (before the annual passes expire). So, I got the ASMu at $71.68 also. Have saved $400 since I first made the reservation with the disney club card.

I got the AKL standard room, savannah view for the $149+tax rate over Thanksgiving! This is for a room that was $355 during peak season and will be $400 during the holiday season:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Was unable to get the AP rate for ASMu for the first part of our stay, but I can't complain about the $55 code rate;)

I have to admit I have been rather disappointed in some of the AP rates lately. This time, however, they are fantastic:sunny:

Just got a great rate at CBR. $87.00 a night waterview w/ a king size bed. I was going to book AKL for $149.00 (savan. View) but decided to stay at CBR and extend our vacation by a week. I didn't even wait a second on hold. It did take the CM awhile to book our ressies but she didn't know what the codes were for and kept loosing them but all is well that ends well. And were off to 16 nights at CBR in 3 months for my DH suprise b-day trip. I hope I can keep this a secret!!!!!!

Taking a short little visit, just dh and me. I called around 11am on 7/28, about a 7 minute wait on hold, got a really nice CM. His computer kept going down and he kept apologizing, he said they have a new system and I can fully understand where he is coming from, anyway.....

I got POR, requested Magnolia Bend for $87, including taxes and everything for a total of $263, standard view! We could of had a king for $296, but opted to stay with the standard. I figured that it will just be dh and me and if we really want the room, we could each have our own double ;) besides it's only for 3 nights - we'll live.....

happy camper here :Pinkbounc

We got a waterview room for $229 per night at the Yacht Club for 10/26-10/30.

I got ASMu for $54.80 per night with tax for 10 nights in November. I had originally booked three different resorts during that 10 night period, including a few nights at PR and a few at AKL. When the $49 ASMu A/P rate came out yesterday, I ran the numbers and realized I would save $700 by staying the entire time at ASMu. That will pay for our room during our Halloween visit in October 2003 so with some sadness, I cancelled the PR and AKL. I feel better today, knowing I have the money to return in 2003. The CM had the very pretty name of Cherian and was very patient despite the computer crashing, data input not being recognized, etc. etc.

I had all of my deposits transferred so that when I check in, I will owe only $25!

The CM advised me to call back in two weeks to make sure that the original reservations were in fact cancelled so that I don't get charged for them later.

Tammy at DU just upgraded me from the woodsview 7/22 code to an AP courtyard rate for a total of $12 more~ not per night~ for the whole stay!! Isn't she awesome??!!

I just got off the phone and I am shocked! I was totally prepared for a difficult time and a long wait, having read all the posts from the last 2 days. I knew people had also had trouble with WDTC when they got them instead of CRO.
Well, I called and got a wonderful CM at WDTC, after about a 30 second wait! I simply told her I wanted to book a room with an AP discount and she looked up the availability immediately. She never tried to talk me into a different resort, or a package, or anything like that. It was so easy! :bounce: :bounce:
So I was able to get As Music (which I've never stayed at before) in November for only $55 a night with tax! I had planned to split my stay with POR for 3 nights, but I just can't pass up that rate. This way I'm saving over $100 more and I'm going to use the extra to take the Keys to the Kingdom Tour which I've always wanted to do.
Thanks everybody for all your great tips!

Learned a good lesson. Wanted WL 12/14 for 6 nights. No dice, completely sold out at std. Opted for CBR, $87.66 with tax. I think since I made $240 I'll look into MVMCP tickets, or maybe that new Princess Breakfast if its still around.

Oh, the lesson. Book early then change.

Still thrilled to go, and first time CBR.

Tried about noon Sunday for 11/22 - 11/30 two-rooms at All-Stars and no availability.

I already have the $55 + tax with mini-golf DC rate, so I'm not too upset. I'll just keep trying once a week, and if I get it, great, if not, oh well, it's only about $50.00.

I sooooo HAPPY! :D :D :D :D

My agent at DU got me a rate of $98 (tax included regular season) at POR for 8 nights. Originally $170.94 rack, then got $109 with codes.

:) Thanks you DIS, Mousesavers and DreamsUnlimited :)
