Did not figure out savings but when we had the room only reservation, the rack rate was about $2900 just for the ROOM. I'm satisfied with the deal....:thumbsup2

Just modified our reservation for the Beach Club in November.

2 adults, 3 children

4/3: 7nights GV
10 day tickets (doing a split stay)
reg. dining plan
$3608 ($ saved $1140 off rack rate)

Room discount: 5nights GV
9 day tickets
reg. dining plan
2 nights at Buena Vista Palace ($233)
$3212+ $233 for BVP+ dining for 2 days would easily be an extra $200.

:woohoo: Pretty much a wash $$$ wise, but now we get to stay at BC 2 extra nights instead of staying offsite.

Originally had problems because first CM could not get the code she was usin to work. I realized she should have been using the code for a Mod with seasonal dining. I called back and second CM was able to apply the right code to our reservation. The savings are not as good as many others because of the seasonal dining, but I was happy that it was able to be applied at all since our stay only covers three days of the booking window for the deal. It seems there is some wiggle room there as long as you are arriving before the booking window ends!

CBR, standard view

7 day base tickets

3/25 - 4/1/10

$3,430.26 original quote
$3,095.40 quote after 7/4 code

$334.86 savings

Not sure if this is really worth it to us. May cancel ressie, especially if airfare is still sky high.

Price for two adults and two kids, at CBR with 7 day base tickets and basic dining plan, no trip insurance, is $3095.00, down from $3,430.26.

I am so tired. Bad allergy attack last night and I have been up since 2 a.m.! I just want to go to bed, but I just tried calling for our 11/27 - 12/5 trip (already have free DDP) but want to see if this would be the better deal. CM right off the bat was trying to talk me out of it.... and told me the Poly is already booked on this offer so we would have to change to YC and it would be more with the dining added on...what to do, what to do???:confused::confused::confused::confused:

yes just give them a call. You might not get the exact same thing. I called today to change my ressie for Bay Lake Towers I had originally had a standard view but that wasn't available for this rate so I had to upgrade to a Bay Lake view. It still saved me quite a bit of money.

The CM should have given you a new quote.:confused3

Free dining is saving you about $170/night for 8 nights so about $1,360.

4/3 would save you 3 nights or about $1,200 plus about $50 in tickets.

:wizard:Hope you feel better!!!:wizard:
