I just now realized that you live in Grand Rapids. I know the area well. My grandma and aunt/uncle live there and I used to work for a company called Rapistan Systems (aka Siemens Dematic). Ever heard of it? A lot of guys in my current company are from Grand Rapids, and I always make fun of them because of their loyalty to the city. Don't know what it is about Grand Rapids, but everyone from there always wants to get back there. Too cold and snowy for me.

What a small world!

Anyway, sorry to get off topic, just had to mention that.

Steve - Isn't Rapistan the on ewho got huge recognition for teh Denver airport a few years back. I know where that GR plant is (was?). It' sbeen a while.

Yep, that's them. Funny you should mention the Denver airport. I was out there on that project. Yet again, small world.

I'm 35 to 45 from GR, depending on where in GR. Grandville would be more like 25 to 30 minutes. You ever visit that family, you let us know!!!

OT, but....

I'm in Jenison... about 15 minutes from downtown and quite literally the neighboring town to Grandville.......

I am actually a transplant, so, like most other transplants, I have kind of a "like/hate" thing going on with the place. (Wave a sports job in front of someone's face and they'll go just about anywhere.) Some things I like and some things I loathe. I really miss a "big" city atmosphere--- but I don't know where I'd move to if I could.
