We have bought DD a Tinkerbell suitcase - which we will pack with some little Disney travel bits from the Poundstore (they have toothpaste, washmits, toothbrushes, brush etc.) and wrap for her birthday (day before we go) as this is part of how we are going to tell her we are going.

We also have a Cinderella dress, crown and wand from the US Disneystore for her birthday - haven't decided whether to give her this the week before her birthday so she can wear it to her Princess birthday party or give it to her on the morning we go to Auberge!

Also bought her some Tink slippers, and will try to get some Tink pj's (Disneystore sold out) and these will be sneaked onto her bed in the hotel when we arrive!

We have bought a Cinderella locket which we will put in a little blue gift box and ask the CM at Auberge to sneak onto her place setting. As a birthday present from Cinderella.

Also bought her some Princess hairclips to wear, a Princess "I am 3" rosette badge, and a Rapunzel waterproof mac!

Everything was in the sale - so sounds alot but didn't cost too much!

Even though she doesn't know she is going yet, we have asked her to draw some pictures of the princesses etc. so we can post them to their castle. Will take them with us, and she can give them to the Princesses she meets. Also will put together a autograph book for her with pictures she draws of the characters and photos of her in various outfits!

Was thinking of taking some little decorations for the hotel room too - like a Happy birthday banner etc.

we went to the Disney Store to use my shiny new shareholders card for the first time and brought -

both half price in the sale then 10% shareholders discount

we have got matching tops!! £3 from Primark

DD has made a countdown calender

and to make sure we are always in the Disney mood we brough this to play constantly in the car

can't wait for our trip and to see what others have got for their trips xx

desperately looking for two Mickey tops for my boys. But I want same ones just in different sizes and this seems like mission impossible I can't get the sizes I want.

Both are Disney Couture and from MandM direct a bargain with postage cost me around a tenner.

Couldn't believe my eyes when this cropped up in my ebay Maleficent search, it's Disney Bershka ?? make and it is lovely cost me 3 quid with p&p

Just resurrecting this thread for any 'newbies'/upcoming trips

I have started in earnest for our June trip (I'm sooo excited) .

So far have bought:

DD2 new pink bow Minnie Mouse ears from the Disney Store (DD1 has red bow ones from our first DLRP trip which I will pack)

Bought both girls an over the body new Rapunzel bag from DS as well which has space for autograph book & pen (great tip about cards with contact details on - will do that!)

Rapunzel dresses and tiaras for both girls (It might be that they get them for their birthdays before we go though)

I've bought transfers and made up white t-shirts for both of them (DD1 has Mulan, Tiana & Rapunzel t-shirts), (DD2 has Belle & Beast and Aurora).

Have bought a few new t-shirts for DD1 from George - some funky Minnie & Tinkerbell ones (DD2 already has quite a few Disney ones so the ones above will be enough for her).

Got them both a Disney Princess bracelet with Rapunzel and (now) Tiana charms to go on (Tiana is sold out so I've had to pay through the odds for two sets on ebay ). Just hope I manage to secure the other charms

I haven't got them yet but hoping to get them both a Tiana & Muppets pin each when released this weekend but I guess it depends on being lucky as they will sell like hot cakes I also plan to get them some new Minnie Mouse backpacks for the flight and a Disney Princess plush doll each but can't decide which yet .

The plan is the bracelets & dolls will be 'gifts' given by the Princesses along with an invitation of some description for a visit to DLRP . Not sure of format yet... but watch this space

I'm sure there is more but that is what I remember for now Gosh, I think I need to stop soon....

So, what has everyone else been getting? It's so exciting putting a little kit together for your littlies .

I am about to bulk buy some colourful hoodies.
There are 8 of us going on our next trip and we have decided to make hoodies.....i have found a printer who is going to make us Mickey/Minnie shapped transfers with 'Steves 30th Birthday, Disneyland 2012' in the centre and all of our names in Disney font around each one. We are all also picking our favourite character to either go on the opposite side of the hoodie or on a tshirt.

I thought i should make a start on it all now.....only 8 months to go afterall!!

I know Elaine, but in my defence, I've been buying for months (so doesn't feel as expensive!) and I have both their birthdays and easter before we go so bits will be going to them then. Plus, a lot of the bits really weren't that expensive at all . It is amazing what you can pick up in the cheaper shops like Wilkinson/B&M Bargains etc!

*whispers* Mummy is hoping for a Muppet, Animal 'across the body' bag for Mother's Day to use on our trip - fingers crossed

Our purchases are kind of small at the mo, we're an older family so I guess we feel we don't need as much stuff heh.

Got some Club Penguin pins for trading fodder, plan to get some more before we go - I love me some CM pin trading! Also a little tempted to get some old "Euro Disney" pins for kicks. Just wondering what else pin-wise I can bear to trade (also pondering on getting some special editions to trade, the pin shop at DLP still does special trades right?)

Also planning on picking up a copy of "The Best of Disneyland Paris CD" and "Euro Disney: Feel the Magic" so I can use the tracks to make a special 20th anniversary CD for the car drive down to Ashford! I'm a sucker for history, and gonna make sure we sort of include that in our trip - because after all, this celebration is as much about remembering the parks past too (as well as looking to the future)
