Let's post dates, resort, view, and nightly rate (please state whether with or without tax.

I got Poly GVC for Sept 3-6 for 310.00 a night plus tax. Not the best deal, but I'll change it if AP or FL res rates come out.

CM said Labor Day Weekend doesn't look like it's going to be too bad.

$831.00 total for 5 nites at Ft. Wilderness cabins. $166 per nite!

POFQ 12 nights, 85.00 plus tax (94.78) per night. CM said computer wouldn't accept 12 nights at that code, so she put in 2 continuing ressies for 6 nights each. By the way, I've checked online for 2 months and FQ was always full. So glad I checked by phone.

Sept 11-18th

Got 3 rooms @ CBR for $85.00 each night!!!!

Sept 12-15
CR Tower 3 nights before code was $373.52 after code is $284.33. I'm saving $267.57 over 3 nights.
New dilemma is do I add a night and split my stay between CR and Poly GVC? Still not sure. Guess I let DD decide.

Hope everyone got great rates,
Shirley

Pop Century preferrred 65/night +tax Sept.12-19th:Pinkbounc April

Grand Floridian - 4 nights for $1155. I had AAA for $1285, so I'm only saving $130, but that's a dinner at Narcoossee! So I'll take it.

But I was really looking at the deal at AKL. That seems like a steal! But for this short trip, we really need that monorail!

Hope everyone gets what they want!

Wilderness Lodge woods view $132/night. We did have the standard view, and the CM said that was not available for the discount.

Sept 11-19
Pop Century Standard Room
55 night plus tax
Grand total $491 for 8 nights!

That saved me $58 over the AAA rate! :D

I got a prefered room at Pop for $72 a night, saved $15, and was still available with dream maker package. Not huge but it helps.

It was well worth the 2 minutes I waited on the phone and once again got a very wonderful and helpful CM who was great.

I got AKL-Savannah for $164 + tax = $182.86. Since the normal price is $308 w/tax, I am saving $125.14 a night or $375 for the entire trip. This makes the discount at around 40% off per night. There was no way we would ever stay at AKL for $308 a night, but $182.86 is a completely different thing.

Now I only have to decide on what park passes I am going to do and call back in a couple of weeks with that info since it is cheaper to buy them from WDW reservations.

I got Pop Century preferred room for $72 a night tax incl and AKL savannah view for $183 tax incl:D I am happy, I'm going to WDW for 2 weeks. Cannot wait anymore, but still have to go to work for about 7 weeks:mad:

I saved $14 off 2 rooms at POP over my AAA rates, $7 each, for the 1 night we are staying. It was paid in full already, so i guess we have a credit he said. I was however told that my rooms at WL-Courtyard view, there were no rooms avail using the code at WL, in any class of room for my dates. Either they are sold out using the code, or they are reaching capacity :(

OK...Just called back, again and again!!

The nice CM asked me and i had suggested it to the other CM's, but they said no, that if we switch the room catagory, maybe it will work, well it did!! I switched from a courtyard view to a woods view. I was paying AAA rate of $212.50/night and a woods view with code is $132/night-a savings of $80.50/night, or a total savings all together on both rooms of $336!!:bounce: With the deposits i paid, the rooms are paid in full now!!:Pinkbounc Ill take that WV over the CV for that amount of savings!!:teeth: ::yes:: :wave2:

I got All-Star Music for $65 a night plus tax. September 25-Oct 2. I'm not sure whether that is preferred or standard because our reservation is through the special needs department and I wasn't able to speak to them directly. We have two accesible walk-in shower rooms, and one regular room that is supposed to be connected to one of the accessible rooms.

"Bazel" was doing his best to try and help me, but he seemed new and frustrated. I was on hold for a long time while transferring to Special Needs, and he finally asked to call me back.

He did call back within a few minutes and said he was able to apply the code, but as I said it came out to $65 a night. I'm figuring, they are probably preferred rooms.

I may wait until the dust settles a bit, and try to talk to the special needs folks myself because they are the best of the best CRO personnel, and I'm sure they can clarify all this for me.

I really want a standard view room because my beef with All-Stars is the Preferred View rooms are the two front buildings which includes the backside of those buildings!!! If I'm going to pay a premium for my room, then I want to make sure I get a courtyard view!!! There are lots more chances for courtyard views when you have 8 buildings to choose from instead of 2. Plus having the special needs rooms limits our choices even further.

Sorry about the diatribe, but thanks for listening!!

Carol
